NYC Civil Career Refund & Cancellation Policy

At NYC Civil Career, we want you to feel confident purchasing our guides, resources, and resume services. Please review our specific policies below regarding digital products and customized professional services.

1. Digital Products (eBooks, Guides, and Downloads)

Because our eBooks and digital products are delivered instantly, all sales are final once a download has begun. We are unable to offer refunds due to a change of mind or after you have accessed and reviewed the material.

2. Resume Optimization Services (Complete Write-Up & Resume Revamp)

Our Complete Resume Write-Up and Resume Revamp packages are highly customized, professional consulting services. Because time, labor, and expertise are dedicated to your specific background immediately upon booking, all sales for resume services are final once work has commenced.

• Cancellations: If you change your mind, you may request a full refund only if you contact us before submitting your current resume, work history, or target NOE details, and before any preparation work has begun.

• No Guarantees: As stated in our evaluation disclaimer, while we align your resume closely with DCAS guidelines, we cannot guarantee qualification or employment. Refunds will not be issued based on the final hiring outcome or grading by city agencies.

Exceptions Where We Will Issue a Refund:

We will gladly issue a full or partial refund if any of the following apply:

• You received the wrong digital file, or a corrupted/unreadable file.

• A technical error on our end prevented you from successfully downloading your purchase or submitting your resume intake information.

• You were accidentally charged more than once for the same order.

• Your payment method was used without your authorization.

How to Request a Refund:

Contact us within 7 days of your purchase date at nyccivilcareer@gmail.com with your order details and a brief description of the issue. We will review your request and get back to you promptly.

Nothing in this policy limits any refund, cancellation, or other rights you may be entitled to under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction, which cannot be waived by this policy.
